The Pre-Raphaelite movement was a group of artists who favoured the art that came before Michelangelo and Raphael. They thought that they could reform art and society through their art and therefore chose the purity and simplicity of Medieval art. The main artists were Holman Hunt ,John Everett Millais and Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
